still addINKtive Week 3

Hi bloggers,  I've really gone out of my comfort zone today and made a card to play along with the challenge for this week at still addINKtive.....I don't usually make square cards and I don't naturally gravitate to bright summery colours....so this was definitely a challenge for me...thanks for stopping by..Vikki.

Seize the Birthday #2

Hi fellow bloggers, yesterday and today I had the pleasure of spending some stamping time with my sister-in-law Vikki and her friend Robyn who both make awesome cards.  Spending time in their company always inspires me to do more stamping and today I have made a card for the second challenge of the year over at Seize the Birthday STB#2 Use the Sketch and make a MASCULINE birthday card.  I tend to gravitate to making cards with a masculine theme so I did enjoy this challenge.  Thanks for taking a look...Vikki.

Feeling Sketchy again....

Well what can I say, another day...another card!  Today I  have used the sketch from Feeling Sketchy #42.   Although I was really hesitant when I saw this sketch, I must say I am really happy with the way this card turned out.  It's amazing what you can do with the inspiration from others....... thanks for stopping by....Vikki.

Merry Monday

Hi fellow stampers, I am back again...making the most of my last week of holidays before I return to work again next week!  Today I took a peek over at Always Playing With Paper and checked out their Merry Monday #45 sketch.  I thought I would play along with this sketch as I have never made a Christmas card in January before...(but anyone who knows me will tell you this is when I should begin making my Christmas cards, instead of the 3rd week in December!)...and this is what I came up with.....thanks for dropping by ...Vikki.

Feeling Sketchy 41

Hi Stampers,
I am really loving the world of blogging and the inspiration that it brings.  I have made another card today, this time using the sketch from Feeling Sketchy #41.  Love this layout...but have discovered I need to invest in some more sentiment stamps as this one is a little bigger than I would have liked to use....but I love the end result anyway!

Stamping in good company

Hi fellow stampers, what a great day yesterday was...spent stamping with my sister-in-law Vikki and her good friend Robyn....both great ladies who always give me heaps of inspiration.  I was able to finish 3 cards including this one for my great nephew who will be 3 in September....yes I am feeling organized.....using a sketch from Still addINKtive Challenges #1 - Sketch and Colour.

I enjoyed making this card and once again have predominantly used my favourite colours of black and white.  My plan for 1 card a day for this week and next week before I have to return to work is coming along very nicely!  Thanks for stopping by.

Black and White with a splash Take 2

I couldn't resist having another go at the challenge this week over at Less is More CAS...Black and White with a touch of Colour.  I love working with black and white and think I could become addicted to this style of card.  This is my take 2.......Vikki

The beginning of a new year and the beginning of a new month means one thing at "Less is More" and that is a colour challenge and for this time we have chosen 

BLACK and WHITE 

with a touch or a splash, a hint or suggestion, a dab or a  patch of 

a colour of your choice!

The idea being that the black and white are predominant and the added colour is subtle.

Still addINKtive Challenges#1

I am enjoying this....today I have had a go at making a card for Still addINKtive Challenges #1 - Sketch and Colour.  I need to try these different challenges to push me out of my comfort zone (my favourite colours to work with would be black and white!!!!).  Once again if you have dropped on by...thank you,Vikki.

Mojo Monday 274

Hi ladies,
Well I have finally done it....I have created a card from Mojo Monday Round or Square and I have actually uploaded it here.  I think I will get used to this aspect of my stamping hobby.  I made this card with my many male relatives in mind.....I have a plan....one card each day for the next two weeks whilst I am still on holidays and that will be 14 cards I have made to cover birthdays this year.....we will see....!  If you have dropped by thank you, it is from the many other stampers online like yourself where I find my inspiration.  Okay..back to card making!
